Fancy Mountain Music and Sound officially opened its doors on November 12, 2018, with native Chicagoan David Winer at the helm. “After working as a freelancer on the coasts for 15 years, it was time to get something going here in the motherland,” said David. Fancy Mountain's composers have accumulated two AICP awards, four Clios,  one Silver Addy, one Silver LIA, one Wood D&AD, and shortlisted at Cannes. They were also nominated for four Grammys as musicians and one as a producer. Fancy Mountain is fluent in commercial, film, industrial, and AR/VR scoring, as well as sound design, licensing and consulting. “Our deep ties to the Chicago music scene remain one of our greatest assets. Onward and upward!”
